What If You’re Carrying More Than Anyone Can See?
You remember the birthdays.
You notice when someone isn’t okay.
You think three steps ahead.
You keep track of what needs to happen next.
Maybe you’re the person everyone comes to when something needs to be handled. Maybe you’re caring for someone, managing a household, supporting a partner, showing up for your family or simply trying to keep your own life together.
And because you’re doing it so often, it can start to feel normal.
But normal doesn’t always mean sustainable.
The invisible load is made up of the responsibilities that aren’t always visible from the outside: the emotional labour, mental planning, caregiving, anticipating, remembering and constant sense of responsibility that can quietly accumulate over time.
Invisible Load is a psychology-informed workshop that helps you recognise the weight you’re carrying, understand why it can be so difficult to put some of it down and explore what sharing, boundaries, rest and asking for support can actually look like.
Because sometimes, you’re not “bad at managing things.”
You’re simply carrying too much.
Is this workshop for you?

Why this workshop is different?
You Don’t Have to Wait Until You’re Exhausted to Ask for Help.
This workshop is…
Psychology-informed
We look at the psychological and relational factors behind why people take on and continue carrying so much responsibility.
About more than “time management”
The invisible load isn’t simply about having too many tasks. It can include emotional responsibility, anticipation, worry and constantly keeping track of other people’s needs.
Compassionate rather than blaming
The goal isn’t to blame yourself or the people around you. It’s to understand the pattern and create possibilities for change.
Practical and reflective
You’ll have opportunities to identify your own load and think about what could change.
For anyone
The invisible load can show up in families, friendships, relationships, workplaces, caregiving roles and everyday life.
