When Your Phone Is Never Really “Away”
You wake up and check your phone.
A notification interrupts your work. You reply to a message while eating. You open Instagram for a few minutes and end up scrolling much longer than you intended.
And even when you’re not actively using your phone, part of your mind may still be waiting for the next notification, message, email or update.
We live in a world where being reachable has become almost automatic.
But constant connection comes with a cost.
Digital fatigue can show up as mental exhaustion, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, disrupted boundaries, overstimulation or simply feeling like your mind never gets a genuine break.
Digital Fatigue and Constant Connectivity is a psychology-informed workshop that explores how technology interacts with our attention, habits, emotions, relationships, work and ability to rest.
This isn’t about demonising technology.
And it isn’t about telling you to delete every app.
It’s about asking a more useful question:
Can you use technology without constantly feeling used by it?
Is this workshop for you?

Why this workshop is different?
This Isn’t a “Delete All Your Apps” Workshop.
This workshop is…
Psychology-informed and evidence-based
We explore technology through the lens of attention, habits, emotions, behaviour, boundaries and wellbeing.
Not anti-technology
Technology is an important part of modern life. The goal isn’t to eliminate it.
More than screen-time tracking
The number of hours matters, but so does what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how you feel afterwards.
Practical rather than restrictive
You’ll work towards intentional digital habits instead of unrealistic rules.
Focused on choice
The goal isn’t to never check your phone. It’s to have more control over when and why you do.
